Northstar Location Services: A Revealing Admission
Here is a letter from Northstar Location Services (4285 Genesee Street, Cheektowaga, NY 14225-1943; (866) 677-2569).It was sent in response to a request for debt validation for a debt allegedly owed to FIA Card Services.
Note that they say they must go ask the client for the validation information, and that it may take more than 30 days.
In plain English, this means that Northstar DOES NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT INFORMATION TO VALIDATE THE DEBT.
If they do not receive this information from their client, they cannot legally pursue collection against you. In plain English, once again, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY.
